"Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters."
The statement continued, "We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other's personal happiness and professional success."
After the news was announced, Scheana took to Twitter to write, "Thank you all for the love today! It's never easy to split with someone you still love, but we will always remain friends."

The filing follows a rocky month for the couple. TMZ reported earlier in November that Scheana Marie, 31, became worried when Mike reportedly failed to return home after band practice on November 2, and she was unable to get a hold of him.
A source close to the aspiring singer told TMZ that Scheana Marie feared her husband may have fallen off the wagon after nearly a year of sobriety following an eight-year addiction to painkillers.
However, Mike has shut down rumors about his disappearance and sobriety. “I am not missing. I am sober. I am Happy!!!” he wrote on Instagram on November 7. “Don't believe everything you read. I love my wife and will always love my wife. Whatever is going on between us will stay between us! I love my family and my family loves me and a lot of things have been said out is protection and anger by many people. I just ready for the next chapter in my life!”
E! News reports that the divorce filing was not filmed for the show, however a source reveals that the couple's marriage problems and the decline of their relationship will play out on the show.
Scheana and Mike said "I do" in July 2014 in front of their family and friends. The wedding was featured on the third season of Vanderpump Rules. Last season, the couple opened up about Mike's substance abuse issues.
