Lala Kent Confirms Her Departure From Vanderpump Rules!

During the summer, Lala Kent announced she quit Vanderpump Rules via Twitter after filming several weeks for Season 5. However  the blonde SURver quickly deleted the tweet. Now, the SURver has officially confirmed her departure from #PumpRules and her position as hostess at SUR after less than two seasons from the Bravo hit reality series.

"My reasoning for leaving was I felt like it was too much of a negative impact on my day-to-day life," Lala told E! News in a statement. "There was not enough good to outweigh the bad. I've also worked so hard on my talent as far as singing and acting goes, and no one has really recognized that. It's just been a bunch of s--t-slinging. I just don't care to be part of anything like that."

But it sounds like Lala's fans won't have to wait too long to see her back on  their TV screens, as the 25-year-old said, "We have a TV show in the works right now, I have two films that I'm currently shooting though I can't announce the titles yet. I'm working on my EP which will have a list of singers and rappers on it, so I'm very excited!"

Lala joined Lisa Vanderpump's during Season 4 and has been at the heart of the drama this in Season 5, including a heated face-off with Katie Maloney and the crew in the premiere, and later having to fend off rumors she's dating a married man.
