Lisa Vanderpump Reveals Why She Almost Didn't Return To RHOBH!

Lisa Vanderpump is returning to the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is set to premiere next week on Bravo. However, LVP reveals that she almost didn't return to the Bravo hit reality show.

"I felt badly beaten up," the 56-year-old told FOXTEL Magazine via The Daily Mail, referring to the treatment she experienced from the ladies last season.

She continued: "I wasn't sure if I wanted to come back for the seventh season. I had a lot of discussions [with production] because I felt badly beaten up last season."

She added: "A couple of the other women [not named] just didn't stop - they were relentless. I felt it wasn't a good season and not a place I wanted to go back to."

However, it was reported that Vanderpump changed her mind and returned return to the show after her good friend, Dorit Kemsley signed on to the series as the newest cast member.

LVP revealed more details on why she almost didn't return to RHOBH.

“I was reticent because I felt the last season was just so aggressive towards me. I’m not a victim in it because I did hit back and the audience were great and really supported me, but it just went down a road I just thought, ‘I don’t think I can do this anymore,’ ” Vanderpump told Access Hollywood Live earlier this month.

“I’d been on it for quite a few years, but then I met with them  — I didn’t start until a couple of weeks after everybody else — and I’ve had such a great time on it and it was just really a couple of really negative episodes and I thought that shouldn’t define the whole experience because it’s given me so much in terms of, as I say, going to Congress for Yulin [dog meat festival] and they said that they would include a lot of the things that I was doing in my life and that was very important to me,” she added.

Vanderpump and Kemsely will be joined by returning cast members Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson and Erika Girardi. Eden Sassoon will also join the cast as the official friend of the housewives. Meanwhile, original cast members Camille Grammer and Kim Richards will make guest appearances throughout the season.
