Andy Cohen Reveals ‘Real Housewives’ Secrets In His Latest Book ‘Superficial’ — Find Out Who’s A ‘Diva,’ And Who Almost Got A Spin-Off Show And More!

Andy Cohen is spilling all the tea in his latest memoir, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries. The Watch What Happens Host is getting candid in his new book and is exposing some juicy and interesting Real Housewives secrets and more.

The following tidbits are taken from Andy's new book Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries via Radar Online.

After an explosive sixth season, Cohen's longtime friend Carole Radziwill privately declared that she wanted to leave The Real Housewives of New York . "Had a very frustrating, fairly circular conversation with [her] today about the show, which is especially unfun because of our friendship," the Bravo host wrote on September 23, 2014. Of course, she later decided to stay and remains a cast member more than two years later.

Cohen once pitched a new series with Bethenny Frankel, and Martha Stewart to Bravo. "The show is like Shark Tank meets The Apprentice, with Martha as Trump and Bethenny as Tim Gunn," he explained in a 2014 diary entry. However, the show never took off. A year later, he pitched another Frankel spinoff to media companies.

After Teresa and Joe Giudice was sentenced to prison on fraud charges, Cohen claimed the Real Housewives of New Jersey patriarch showed "zero remorse." "He doesn't think he did anything wrong, he just thinks he got caught," the family friend admitted in October 2014.

After Phaedra Parks' estranged husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison on fraud charges in 2014, Cohen tried to convince the Real Housewives of Atlanta starlet to do a special episode about the issue. "She so doesn't' want to," the Housewives honcho sighed. "She's this weirdly private person who is on a reality show about her life, so that's a life-sized oxymoron."

After Teresa Giudice checked into prison, her young daughter Milania, 10, left a note with Cohen's doorman at his New York apartment. "It was eerie and interesting," he wrote on January 4, 2015.

While his wife was serving time, Joe Giudice told Cohen that he wanted an entire "cable channel" dedicated to him! Obviously it never happened — but the father of four did get a mini-season about his life as a single dad in 2015.

At the season 7 reunion filming in March 2015, every RHOA cast member arrived two hours late — and their host was irate! "The divas didn't get to set until around noon. I lost my wits," he wrote.

The RHONY cast wasn't much better at their reunion taping a few months later. Ramona Singer allegedly complained that frenemy Frankel was getting more screen time than the other women!

When Bethenny Frankel hosted the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at her Hamptons home for filming in the summer of 2015, Luann de Lesseps wanted a piece of the action — and flipped when Cohen shut her down. "I think it's hilarious, of course," he said.

During Cohen's event with best friend Anderson Cooper in Laguna Beach, California on March 11, 2016, bitter Real Housewives of Orange County enemies Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino finally made up. "I felt good about peace in Orange County," he wrote.
