Earlier this week it was reported that The Real Housewives of New York City began filming their ninth season. While there's no official confirmation about any new additions added to the series, new sources have revealed the identity of the newest housewife.
According to Radar Online, Tinsley Mortimer has joined RHONY as the show's newest cast member, replacing last season's newbie Jules Wainstein, who decided to quit to series after one season to focus on her children and business amid ongoing divorce battle from estranged husband Michael.
Mortimer makes a perfect addition because she's no stranger to drama. Mortimer made headlines back in April when she was arrested for trespassing at the Palm Beach, Florida home of her boyfriend.
Radar reported that the on-again-off-again couple had a history of physical abuse. It is unknown if her boyfriend Nico Fanjul will make an appearance on the Bravo show.
Mortimer, 41, is no stranger to reality television. The socialite previously starred on her own reality show on the CW called "High Society" but it was cancelled after just eight episodes.
