Scottie Pippen May Reconcile With Wife Larsa Pippen; Rep Says: “They’ve Been Texting Nonstop”

As you all know, Scottie Pippen filed for divorce from Larsa Pippen after 19 years of marriage and according to court documents, he is seeking custody of their four children and is demanding prenup to be amended without alimony, however according to a new report, the NBA legend may reconcile with the former Real Housewives of Miami star.

Larsa's rep revealed the couple could still reconcile, insisting the breakup occurred after a fight over Scottie’s hopes to land an ESPN gig in Chicago.

“The tension between [Scottie and Larsa] started months ago,” Larsa’s rep said. “I’m fairly certain they’re going to make up. He’s sending her messages. They’re communicating. I don’t think they’re going to pull the trigger. He was saying, ‘I miss you. Let’s talk.’ She’s feeling the same way. When it rains, it pours, but Scottie’s at a different place. She’s at a different place, and they’re just figuring it out.”

Her rep added, “I believe he took a new job in Chicago working with ESPN as an analyst for the Chicago Bulls. It’s a job-related thing, and he’s always preferred Chicago over Miami, so that’s always been an issue, but that’s nothing new. He wants to reside fully in Chicago and she loves Miami. They’ve been texting nonstop. And she’s like, ‘Is this really how it’s going to end? We’ve been through so much together.’ She was a little bit caught off guard [by his divorce filing].”

But based on Scottie’s nasty court filing, there’s no love lost just yet.

According to Broward County Circuit Court documents obtained by Radar Online, the 51-year-old demanded “ultimate responsibility” of the former couple’s four minor children — Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia — and announced he will file a Petition for Relocation on behalf of the children, and plans to whisk them away to Chicago with him.

Scottie begged the court not to demand he pay alimony to his former reality star wife. He also requested the right to “amend” their prenuptial agreement.

But another source close to Pippen said of Larsa’s friendship with celebs such as Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, “Scottie hates this whole ‘Kardashian Instagram lifestyle.’ [Larsa is] all about clubs and rappers and DJs. He just wants out of that world.” Pippen “just wants to play golf and stay low-key,” the source told Page Six. “He’s afraid of all the gossip that comes with that Kardashian world she’s in.”
