Cynthia Bailey's estranged husband, Peter Thomas' shady past has been exposed. According to a new report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta hubby was once arrested for drug possession and issuing bad checks and more.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online from Florida’s Miami-Dade County, Thomas was once arrested for drug possession and issuing worthless checks, a felony. He was also arrested and charged with marijuana possession on August 31, 1995.

After the 55-year-old club onwer pled not guilty, the case was dismissed due to lack of prosecution. Thomas was arrested and charged again with marijuana possession nearly six years later on June 8, 2001.

This time, the judge withheld a formal conviction and instead issued a fine. In a much more serious case, Thomas was arrested for writing worthless checks totaling more than $150, a felony, on June 4, 1997.

Though the court scheduled a trial, the prosecution ultimately dismissed the case. Unfortunately, detailed documents for all three cases have been destroyed by the court.

Meanwhile back in 2008, Thomas was once arrested for battering a female employee.

According to court records obtained by Radar Online from the Atlanta Police Department, the 55-year-old restaurateur and club owner “grabbed” and “pushed” the accuser in the ladies’ locker room of his former hot spot, Uptown, on April 27, 2008.

“I noticed visible bruises to her left arm,” an officer recalled in the documents. The responding officer claimed Thomas told him he had never pushed the woman, and was merely attempting to take a checkbook and the business’s money from her.

But the accuser, who's name is unknown due to privacy reasons, shared a completely different story to the website. According to the accuser, around 2 a.m. on the night of the fight, the woman — a waitress at Upstairs during the time — claimed she finished her shift and headed to the locker room to relax and grab a cigarette.

“What are you doing?” she said he screamed.

When she confronted him about his “disrespectful” tone, the waitress alleged that he called her his “slave,” ordered her to give him her shift earnings and attempted to grab her checkbook from her hands.

“He grabbed the book and pushed me,” she said. “I hit a metal table and scraped my arm.”

In retaliation, the waitress admitted she got up and began throwing glasses before leaving the restaurant and calling the police.

“He has a very, very bad temper,” she added. “And he’s super shady. Everyone in Atlanta knows that about him.”

Three years later in 2011, Thomas was found not guilty of two counts of battery after a bench trial. Radar reports that the case was delayed because he allegedly failed to appear in court in June 2009. He was arrested and jailed six months later on a warrant following a routine traffic stop.

Most recently, it's been reported that Thomas was sued by an investor for allegedly defrauding him of $150,000. He also reportedly owes $350,000 in unpaid taxes for his former Atlanta lounge Bar One.
