RHONY Season 9 Casting Rumors: Find Out Who's In And Who's Out!

This season of The Real Housewives of New York City has been a total success — with all the constant drama, the reality series' eighth season scored high ratings for Bravo — while there's  not a lot of information regarding the upcoming ninth season, a new source is revealing juicy details about the new season, check it out below!

Expect to see some new faces next season, dished a show insider. “They are going to start casting for replacement housewives soon.”

So who’s leaving to make room for fresh blood?

After weeks of speculation, Jules Wainstein confirmed her departure from reality series. "Overall, it was a great experience," she told The Daily Dish earlier this week. "I learned so much about myself. I learned so much about the ladies.

"They're all successful in different ways. I learned different things from each and every one of them," she said. "The best part of it, especially now, [with] what's going on now, the show really made me feel capable — like I felt like if I didn't have the show and this was going on I'd kind of feel lost. I feel very strong and like I got a little chutzpah. I feel empowered; it's a show about women. Listen, I'm going through the worst time in my life, but on the other hand, life isn't over and even though I'm 35, it could be the beginning."

Due to her ongoing divorce drama from estranged husband, Jules is focusing on her business, Modern Alkeme, as well as her children. But apparently Wainstein may not be alone in making her exit.

Dorinda Medley, who has gone head to head with Bethenny Frankel over her claims she has dabbled in cocaine, a charge she vehemently denies, “is up in the air, but they are leaning towards not renewing her contract,” an insider told Radar Online.

One reason for Medley’s potential axing, explained the insider, is that “she is friends with Jules and they’re allies and she is leaving, so that’s a problem.”

The source say that RHONY producers aren't happy with LuAnn de Lesseps because she is refusing to film her wedding with fiancé Tom D’Agostino, which is still planned to go ahead, despite his recent cheating scandal.

“If that becomes a bigger issue it’s going to jeopardize her role,” said the insider. “The wedding is a big part of her storyline and not filming it for the show would make her irrelevant going forward.”

As for the rest of the cast, noted the insider, “Everyone is likely safe.”

Meanwhile Page Six reported that Countess Luann de Lesseps may not return for the next season.

So who is rumored to join the show?

A few weeks ago it was reported that former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid was in talks with RHONY producers to join the show, with Dorinda Medley supporting the idea, however a source a close to Bravo denied the rumors to Page Six as well as Hadid's former co-star Brandi Glanville.

Multiple reports are claiming that Tommy Hilfiger's niece Jaimie Hilfiger may be joining the show's ninth season. When asked about the rumors, the blonde model said: "Well you have to wait and see but I recently relocated to New York City, so I guess everyone will have to wait and see. Tune in to Season 9," she told OK! Magazine.

Hilfiger, who is a successful model admitted that she's a big fan of the show and see's herself becoming close friends with Sonja Morgan.

"I have watched it" she said about Season 8 of the RHONY. "I'm a big Housewives fan actually, I think this season has been dramatic"

"I think I would instantly bond with Sonja," she said. "She's beautiful - I think people give her a hard time but I understand why she wants to create a lifestyle brand around herself."

When asked what would she contribute to the show if she would join the Bravo show. "I'm a model, so I'm going to continue modeling and I also have my own skin care line out called the Jaimie Hilfiger Collection by La Curcio." She added by saying that she will "stay positive and bring the drama" to RHONY.

A former cast member has made it clear that she would like to make a guest appearance for the show's ninth season. So who is it? None other than original cast member, the infamous Jill Zarin.

"I would love to do a cameo but they're not calling so what can I say?" Jill told OK! Magazine about a possible return to the Bravo hit reality series.
