Eden Sassoon Officially Joins ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ For Season 7!

Eden Sassoon, entrepreneur and daughter of the late beauty icon Vidal Sassoon, has confirmed that she will be joining the new upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

"I can confirm that I've been filming," Sassoon tells E! News, though her role on the show is still unclear. "I'm not telling you if I'm a Housewife or a friend yet, but it's been a blast so far."

While she may be new to the show, Sassoon is familiar with some of the show's cast members.

"She and Lisa Rinna have mutual friends, and her family has a history with Lisa Vanderpumpa source tells E! News. "Eden's father used to come into the restaurants all the time. Since filming started, she and Lisa Rinna have gotten really close."

"I thought I was a badass bitch, but this is going to be a tough crowd to keep up with," she says. "Don't worry though, I got this!"

The 43 year-old single mom of two owns both a hair salon and a pilates studio, and is known for her sober lifestyle.

“She's a real go-getter. She does tons of charity work, and she's so cool — she knows everyone in town. She has deep roots in L.A,” a source told Us Weekly.

In a 2014 interview with Focus Magazine, the single mom — who reportedly dated Jesse McCartney from 2011 to 2012 — revealed that she is a reformed alcoholic. She candidly spoke with the outlet about how kicking her addiction changed her life for the better.

“The addiction’s been lifted. But it’s the work and the truth and the honesty that I put into my life — but I always have. You’re not really truthful if you’re still, you know, kind of masking an addiction,” she explained at the time. “So I think sobriety is a big thing. … There’s nothing to cover up, there’s no pills, there’s no grabbing for alcohol, there’s no smoking. You know, you might find me going to two classes at SoulCycle or taking an extra Pilates class, or maybe indulging in pizza.”

Sassoon will be joined by returning housewives Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Erika Girardi and newbie Dorit Kemsley. Yolanda Hadid and Kathryn Edwards will NOT be returning next season and rumor has it that Camille Grammer and Kim Richards will be returning in a recurring role.
