Will Shannon Beador And Vicki Gunvalson Ever Be Friends Again?

Shannon Beador has made it very clear that she doesn't want to pursue a friendship with her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Vicki Gunvalson following the OG of the OC's ex Brooks Ayers' cancer controversy last year. Will Shannon ever forgive Vicki and mend their friendship?

"I mean, I have forgiven Vicki. There are so many people that say I have to move on and forgive. I have forgiven," she told The Daily Dish. "But fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, and Vicki wasn't truthful with me, and I feel as though I was used by her. And this was over a year. And, you know, I don't want that in my life anymore. If someone is untruthful to the point that she was, I don't want to be friends with that person. And I'm entitled to make that decision. I'm entitled to make the decision that I don't want to be close to somebody."

But Shannon said that she has no plans to cut Vicki out of her life completely. She even teased that she does "have some fun" with Vicki as the season progresses before the OG hurts her again.

"Can I be in the same room with her? Can I be in the same room as Vicki? Can I have fun with Vicki? Of course I can," Shannon revealed. "But I'm not gonna have that close friendship that we once had."

Still, Shannon said she has taken some heat for her reluctance to forgive Vicki after she seemed willing to accept her husband David Beador's apology after his affair.

"You know what? A lot of people are comparing my husband and my relationship to my relationship with Vicki, and they're two absolutely separate things. 'If you forgave your husband, why can't you forgive Vicki?'" she responded to her critics. "Once again, I have forgiven, but I have children with my husband, and I'm in a marriage with him. Vicki was a friend. And the most important thing is that my husband made himself accountable and showed remorse for what had happened in our relationship. And Vicki hasn't taken accountability, and she never will. And I'm fine with that. I just don't want people like that in my life."

At least Shannon and Vicki seem to be in a better place than David and Vicki, who got into a heated exchange at the '70s party.

"I mean, David and I are very truthful people. We're honest. And it bothers both of us that there were so many untruths told by Vicki last season. So he's not a fan of Vicki. And I understand that, because David saw the pain and the hurt that she put me through. And, you know, both of us just have a hard time understanding the whole thing, how and why it happened," Shannon said. "So I was the last one defending Vicki, and it seems as though she came after me the hardest. We don't want that in our lives, neither of us do."

Does Shannon think that Vicki could one day get back together with Brooks? "I've had conversations with Vicki about it, and I think they're soulmates. I think she misses him," Shannon said. "I don't know if they'll get back together or not. I have no idea. But I do think that she misses him."
