Peter appeared on The Wendy Williams Show Thursday, revealing that he found out via E! News that Cynthia was filing for divorce, he added that she's been independent for so long that she didn't know how to compromise in a marriage.
"I don't think she embraced [marriage] much for the fact that she's been single all her adult life and been independent all her adult life," he said. "So, getting married at 42 when you now have to compromise and you have to share decisions and all of that, I don't think she really embraced it the way I did."
While he hasn't seen Cynthia in months, he still keeps in touch with her teenage daughter regularly.
"I speak to Noelle all the time; we have a close relationship," Peter shared on the talk show. "She's extetemely bright. She grew up in that [reality TV] world."
In addition to being a stepdad to Noelle, Peter also has five kids of his own from previous relationships. "I got five kids: two daughters and three sons," he added to Wendy. "I say it all the time, I got two beautiful daughters and three beautiful sons," he said, sharing they are from three different prior relationships. "But, it wasn't at the same time. One thing end and then another begin," he joked
Peter then was asked to dish on the current RHOA cast after he was told some of the ladies think he wants to hold a peach.
He said: "Of course they're going to say that because I'm probably more prolific on camera than they are. You know what I'm saying? So I can see them saying that. I'm not the guy that's going to be in the room and you say some shady stuff about me and I don't have a reaction towards it... I run to it. I don't run away from it."
When asked who on the show is his "least favorite," he didn't hesitate.
"It probably would be Porsha," he said. "And then Phaedra. I don't really get along with those girls at all. Those are the kinds of girls who keep on projecting negative things about you, knowing that everyone's going to buy into it. Somewhat like what Donald Trump does with Hillary... Negative. Negative. Negative. Negative."
