Is Lena Chenier Joining The Real Housewives Of Atlanta For Season 9?

Now that both NeNe Leakes and Kim Fields have officially left The Real Housewives of Atlanta, producers are looking to add some new blood to the mix. According to multiple reports, Lena Chenier has joined the Bravo hit reality show for Season 9.

Two reliable gossip sites that follow RHOA closely – Tamara Tattles and Straight From the A – have pinpointed the same person as a possible new cast member: Lena Danielle Chenier.

Who is Lena?

She has a clothing line at LenaDanielle.com. She is reportedly the fiance of R&B singer Robert Lavelle “R. L.” Huggar, who is part of the R&B music group Next. Apparently, the couple could get married on the show, similar to the way Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas did in their first season way back on season three.

The gossip sites say she is friends with Kandi Burruss and has ties with Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas.

According to LoveBScott, Lena was was tested last year but didn’t get picked.

According to Perez Hilton, Lena's fiance R.L. has a rocky history with Cynthia Bailey's soon-to-be ex-husband Peter Thomas.

R.L. reportedly lost $10,000 when he backed the Thomas' failed restaurant Bar One – he even filed a lawsuit. Apparently, Lena was one of the finalists for the open spot on the Bravo hit reality series after getting along with the girls at Porsha Williams' birthday party last month, producers officially made her an official cast member.
