The series takes place in the 1970s and follows Bonnie, a mom of two daughters, raising her family after leaving her husband. John Riggi of 30 Rock and The Comeback fame penned the script and will executive producer alongside ER's John Wells. Richards is on board as a co-executive producer, reports E! News.
Richards and sister Kim Richards were child actors in the 70's and 80's. Richards had a role on Little House on the Prairie and appeared in Halloween, among other credits from the 1970s, including Disney's cult classic, The Watcher in the Woods alongside Betty Davis.
