The Cast Of ‘The Real Housewives Of Auckland’ Reveal Their Reasons For Joining The Upcoming New Zealand Reality Series!

The Real Housewives of Auckland will make their official debut this August on Bravo New Zealand. Most recently, the network released a brand new teaser trailer where the ladies reveal the reasons why they decided to sign up for the successful and controversial reality franchise.

"What girl doesn't want to be in the limelight now and again?" giggles hospitality mogul and author Julia Sloane.

Meanwhile, actress and presenter Louise Wallace says she simply "missed being on television," before adding: "And, I think I'm too good NOT to be on television."

Meanwhile, the self proclaimed 'Champagne Lady,' Anne Batley-Burton, admitted that her business was the reason why she decided to join RHOAKL.

"I'm in the champagne business, and I'm the champagne lady, so this is a fantastic opportunity to get my name out there. It seems like it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun."

Stylist and businesswoman Angela Stone shared a similar sentiment, stating: "What an amazing opportunity to get my brand throughout every single living room in New Zealand."

Meanwhile, Gilda Kirkpatrick reveals a more intellectual reason for signing on, saying: "I'm fascinated by the effect of reality TV on popular culture."

RHOAKL is set to premiere on Bravo New Zealand in August, and is being produced by Matchbox Pictures, the same production company behind the highly-successful The Real Housewives of Melbourne. The production company is also set to bring a Sydney installment of the Real Housewives franchise to Foxtel's Arena in 2017.
