"You know, I always miss the girls who aren't on the show anymore," Luann told Entertainment Tonight. "Kristen [Taekman's] a great girl, so is Heather [Thomson]. But you know, they've moved on and I just keep moving forward."
"I feel it's really authentic [this season], because we're all old friends," Luann says. "We've known each other a long time, and there's a lot of flashbacks going on to the previous seasons, and I think it gives it weight and depth, and I think it kinda jells."
When asked who she would want to bring back to the series, Luann didn't think twice mentioning Jill Zarin.
"Oh, Jill Zarin!" Luann says. "Everybody wants to see Jill."
Jill was fired from the Bravo hit reality series back in 2011, when the show was heavily revamped and recast. In 2014, executive producer Andy Cohen teased that they tried to bring her back to film one scene for season six, but it didn't work out, which the Countess revealed it was all thanks to Ramona Singer.
"Ramona [Singer] found out and she put the kibosh on that," Luann reveals. "Because Jill had the 'goods' on her … What that means is Jill knew what was going on in Ramona's life. [Jill]'s the Jewish mom," Luann notes. "She knows everything."
I think what Luann means is that Jill knew about Mario Singer was cheating on Ramona.
While it might be fun to see Zarin back on RHONY, it's unlikely to happen. Back in 2014, Andy revealed that there would be "a little bit of a cast mutiny" if the former star returned. Bethenny Frankel has been vocal that she never wants to be friends with Zarin, the same with Singer.
Besdies de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan are the only other cast members that continue to be friends with Zarin.
