Jules Wainstein's Husband Michael Denies Cheating Allegations And Accuses Her Of Being A ‘Drama Queen’

Things are getting ugly between Jules and Michael Wainstein. Last week it was reported that the two are divorcing after the Real Housewives of New York City newbie caught her husband cheating. Now, Michael is sharing his side of the story and sets the record straight.

"Yes [the marriage is over]," Michael Wainstein's attorney Mark Jay Heller told Us Weekly. "If she had caught him cheating, she certainly would have put in an answer and account to claim alleging that he committed adultery."

Last week, Jules' rep confirmed that the two were divorcingbecause of Michael's alleged cheating. "It has nothing to do with the show," the rep said in a statement. "They had issues for awhile but Jules was blindsided by this."

However, according to Heller, the marriage actually fell apart because Michael was sick of Jules’ behavior as she settled into reality stardom. "She is really a wannabe drama queen and he no longer wants to be the drama king," he said.

Reports of the pair's relationship have only intensified since the news of their breakup. On Thursday, rumors surfaced that Michael threatened Jules, and photos showed cops outside their Manhattan apartment building.

"The story was that the police were called to the house and they basically swarmed the house. And when they got there they said, 'What’s the matter? Why’d you call us?' Because they saw that absolutely nothing was going on," Heller told Us, alleging that Jules told authorities that Michael was speaking "loudly" to her. Heller added: "I predict that if she does it again, she is going to get herself arrested for filing a false report."

Jules' rep, in response, is blasting Heller's cheating denial. "[His] statement speaks for itself — it’s utterly disgusting," the RHONY star's rep told Page Six.

Together Jules and Michael, a principal at Private Capital Group, have two children, Jagger, 5, and Rio, 2.
