According to a new report, Real Housewives of New York City newbie Julianne "Jules" Wainstein won't appear in Season 9 of the Bravo hit reality series. “Bravo isn't asking Jules back," an insider tells Us Weekly.
The news comes a week after reports revealed that Jules’ husband of eight years, Michael, 44, filed for divorce. Since then, the two have been hurling nasty accusations at each other.
Jules' rep accused venture capitalist Michael of infidelity, claiming he cheated with one of her close friends. Then, Michael's attorney claimed Jules physically attacked her husband in 2012, denying cheating allegations and claiming that Jules is a "drama queen."
Despite opening up about her eating disorder and chaotic home life, the source claims that "she isn't resonating with viewers."
And with costar Ramona Singer's Season 7 split from her husband of 22 years, Mario Singer, still a leading story line, the insider explains, "producers don't want another divorced woman."
However, a Bravo rep denied these allegations, insisting no casting decisions have been made for Season 9.
"That is not accurate — the network hasn't made any decisions about another season or about casting."
