Bravo New Zealand Will Launch In New Zealand On July 3!

Last month, we reported that Bravo was heading to New Zealand and was set to launch as a free-to-air channel in July, under a joint venture between Bravo owner NBCUniversal International and Kiwi broadcaster MediaWorks to transform Channel FOUR into entertainment-lifestyle brand Bravo New Zealand.

The network has officially announced that the live launch of Bravo New Zealand will be on Sunday, July 3.

It's a first for this country — a channel that screens "unscripted programming" exclusively, 24 hours a day — and if its American originator is anything to go by, it will be a hit, reports Spy.

Shows that will be part of its programming will be Vanderpump Rules, Flipping Out, Southern Charm, Shahs of Sunset, Made in Chelsea, Million Dollar Listing, Top Chef and The Real Housewives. New series to include I Am Cait, Tour Group, Below Deck: Mediterranean, Après Ski, The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Dallas.

Bravo New Zealand will also air the newest seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of New Jersey express from the US.

As previously reported, Bravo NZ will be launching their own Housewives with The Real Housewives of Auckland. #RHOAKL is set to premiere this August. The show is made by the same production company responsible for The Real Housewives of Melbourne and the upcoming The Real Housewives of Sydney.
