PR Maven Roxy Jacenko Turns Down Offer To Join The Cast Of ‘The Real Housewives Of Sydney’ — Find Out Why!

As we previously reported, the producers from The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Matchbox Pictures are working on expanding the Real Housewives franchise in Australia in hopes of adding Sydney to the hit reality franchise with The Real Housewives of Sydney.

Although a full cast has yet to be announced, a new report is claiming that PR maven and former Celebrity Apprentice Australia star Roxy Jacenko has turned down a role on the Sydney installment of the Real Housewives reality series.

Speaking with OK! Magazine in an article published last week, the mother-of-two said she was offered the role on the show but she turned it down because "girls can get really catty."

"I enjoy watching The Real Housewives Of Melbourne but girls can get really catty and I don't want to get involved with that."

She noted that though she's close friends with Lydia Schiavello from RHOMelbourne, it's not something she'd consider.

Roxy runs her own PR company Sweaty Betty, which she started when she was just 24 years old and has since expanded it into a multi-million-dollar business.

Her entrepreneurial tendencies go beyond herself, having launched a children's headwear company called Pixie Bows which is named after and on behalf of her four-year-old daughter.

The 35-year-old is no stranger to reality television. Roxy appeared in the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, making it all the way to the finale, coming in third place.

Besides working on The Real Housewives of Sydney, The Real Housewives of Melbourne producers, Matchbox Pictures are also working on expanding the Real Housewives franchise in New Zealand with The Real Housewives of Auckland which is expected to air sometime next year.
