Lydia Schiavello: “Chyka Has Either Misunderstood Or Is Intentionally Creating A Dispute”

Lydia Schiavello is taking to her Arena Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Lydia Schiavello dishes on the drama in Dubai and says she's disappointment that her co-stars questioned her credibility. Lydia writes:

"I have been travelling to the Middle East and more particularly Dubai for 25 years.

This is when I first met my beautiful friend Nadia, who was my maid of honour for my wedding.
Her former Husband represented Schiavello office furniture in this region.
My friendship with Nadia and Dubai has grown from this point on…..

Over the past couple of years I have been visiting and helping Nadia, who has unfortunately had some very serious health issues. This has shown me a different side to Dubai, doing normal everyday things, driving to Doctors, going to local stores and learning the language.

More recently Andrew and I have been on Trade Missions through the region supported by the Victorian Government, where he has made presentations and provided advice on sustainable buildings.

Chyka has either misunderstood or is intentionally creating a dispute. I have no interest in competing with her or stealing her thunder.

I have a lot of history and fond memories of Dubai.

Dubai, and in fact the entire region was far more conservative and less cosmopolitan when I first visited 25 years ago.

The transformation from a small trading port and rapid evolution into an international destination  are as interesting as the glamorous shops, restaurants and hotels that are seen to represent Dubai today.

With that background in mind, I suspected my experiences were somewhat different to Chyka’s and I was simply wanting to share my insights with the girls.

It disappoints me that yet again I am being put down and my credibility questioned.

Life goes on, but I do find this petty behaviour and bitchiness tiresome. Hopefully the girls can move past all of this and have a more optimistic and positive outlook on life.

I enjoyed my time with the girls, and was fortunate to catch Nadia during our busy schedule.

Hope you enjoyed the episode
