Karen Huger Explains Her Comments About Ashley Darby And Teases Upcoming RHOP Reunion Drama!

In a recent interview with Bravo, Karen Huger talks about this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Karen Huger, "The Grand Dame of Potomac" discusses the comments she made at Gizelle Bryant's luncheon and her mama bear instincts. Check it out below!

Bravotv.com: How is Rayvin doing in college? Were you able to see her every month? Any kissing you know of?

Karen Huger: Rayvin is doing great in college. While it was an adjustment for me she handled it like a pro and lovingly made sure I did NOT make my monthly visits as I had planned. I sent away my baby and got a young woman back in return. Our mother/daughter bond is stronger than ever. I’m very proud of her.

Bravotv.com: What were you feeling going into the “come to Jesus” lunch considering your issues with Ashley?

KH: I appreciated Gizelle putting together the luncheon and I wanted to support that effort. I felt that attending the luncheon so soon after my cocktail party was risk. My emotions were very raw. I was very much still in my mama bear mode concerning Ashley.

Bravotv.com: Tell us about tell Ashley she should have her own children — and then your comments on respecting other peoples’ perspective. Do you stand by both statements?

KH: Ashley shared with as all, her desire to have her own child; she very much wants to be a mom. I wish that for her as well. I feel that once she holds her own child in her arms she will better understand my boundaries/perspectives concerning parenting and my desire to protect my child.

Bravotv.com: What was your relationship with Ashley going into the Reunion? Did you feel your beef was squashed after the luncheon?

KH: I had not seen nor spoken with Ashley going into the reunion and emotions on both sides were still very high. I walked away from the luncheon feeling we had made progress but there was still work to be done.
