Jim Marchese Arrested And Charged With Felony Domestic Violence For Allegedly Attacking Amber Aboard Plane!

Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jim Marchese was arrested late Tuesday night after allegedly getting into a domestic altercation with his wife Amber. The alleged incident took place on board their flight to Los Angeles International Airport.

"On April 19, 2016 at approximately 11:30 pm Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 3 regarding a reported incident aboard an aircraft," airport police told People. "At the request of officers, a male suspect and a female victim left the aircraft. Additional questioning revealed the suspect had grabbed the victim by the throat and made threats against her."

Authorities state that "Suspect-James Marchese, was arrested and transported to LAPD Pacific Division where he was booked for Domestic Violence."

The 46-year-old lawyer's bail was set at $50,000 and he is scheduled back in court on May 11, according to arrest records.

Prior to the incident, Amber, 38, took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of herself holding her face with the caption, "Red eye. Yup." She later deleted it.

In April 2015, Amber revealed her cancer had returned after surviving breast cancer in 2009. She blogs about her health for People.

Amber Marchese joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey's sixth season in 2014.

In November 2015, Amber confirmed that she was not returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey after joining the reality show. Amber claimed that it was a decision she made with her husband, Jim, and that she going to focus on other endeavors.

"Jim and I have been giving Real Housewives of New Jersey a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on," she said of her one-season stint on the series.

However, other reports claimed that Bravo actually fired The Marcheses'. Despite Amber’s public announcement that she quit RHONJ, our friends over at TV Deets report that it was actually the network’s decision, not hers. “Amber can say whatever she wants but she was fired. Bravo would never call her out.”
