Janet Roach: “I Have Lost A Lot Of Respect For Lydia Watching The Way She Treated Pettifleur”

Janet Roach is taking to her Arena Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Janet Roach dishes on the drama in Dubai and explains why she called out Lydia Schiavello for gossiping about the other ladies' back. Janet writes:

"Ep 10 already, cannot believe we are here.

I really want to clear up a misconception here. Jackie did not start this rumours saga.
I have been really close to both Ben and Jackie for the last 3 years. Jackie has never said anything about the rumours Lydia was passing around. Not even to me, and I consider us to be very close.

Chyka was very upset about the rumours that she heard that Lydia was passing around about the girls, and being good friends, Jackie and I got behind her.

I don’t think Lydia is a malicious person. I feel that, out of all of us, Lydia has the least going on in her life. Lydia admits she is exhausted if she has been spending time with Figaro.

As such, to be relevant, she passes on these outlandish stories about the girls.
The problem is that the fantasy stories get back to us and they hurt.
Let’s just cut the bullshit. Lydia knows exactly what she has said about all of us. She continued to deny it on camera, which sent us all crazy with frustration.

My heart broke for Pettifleur at the Glasshouse. For all her foibles, Pettifleur is a true friend. If she is on your team she is 100% for you. Pettifleur put herself in the firing line for Lydia, and Lydia needed a good friend. Seeing that made me realise, all the things Susie was saying about Lydia were probably true.
I have lost a lot of respect for Lydia watching the way she treated Pettifleur over this.

On a lighter note, Jackie and Ben are going to be the cutest parents ever. Never had any doubt about the “Phelpsy swimmers, or 20 year old eggs”. They may be rockers, but they live very healthy lifestyles and I cannot wait to be Auntie Janet.

I really love Brian. I think all marriages go through stages and that while I had my own challenges with Jake, Brian was going through his own stuff. Once the trust is gone, it is gone. Whilst we may not be together again, all that we have built with our family still remains. It’s tough, but that is the reality. I will always have Brian in my life as a friend and a confidant, but life goes on.

I love Gina. 30 years is a long time, and she has my utmost respect, born from a really honest relationship. However, I do get a bit insulted when she portrays herself as the busiest of us.
I run a couple of full time businesses and a Charity. Chyka runs a very large full time business also.
I feel that Chyka and I are the busiest of the group.

As a recap, Lydia did pass on the rumours.
There are rumours about all the girls, including me, but Chyka has been the most upset about this.
Jackie and I are good friends to Chyka and supported her. We are not trying to smash Lydia. Only pointing out the truth.

We all make mistakes, it is the human condition.
I feel that Lydia should admit it and apologise.
I am sure Lydia did not mean to hurt us all. So just say that.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

Janet Roach."
