Manzo opened up about communicating with Teresa while she was at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. and dished a bit about what the two ladies discussed while she was away.
"We kept in touch via email, like daily," Dina told E! News. "As a matter of fact in some odd way I think it brought us closer because not many people had email access to her. I was one of the chosen ones."
Dina said that instead of focusing on anything deep, their emails were "total girl talk." Dina had been checking in on the Giudices while Teresa was away and offering up the RHONJ mom some updates.
"She was telling me about her exercise and checking in because I was seeing Audriana and Joe [Giudice] a lot. We didn't get deep," she said. "It was just keeping it light and moving her right through it."
