WWHL Recap: Watch What Happens Live One-On-One Special With Kim Richards!

First and foremost I must say that Kim Richards looked the best she's looked in a very long time during her Watch What Happens Live One-On-One Special, which aired on Tuesday, March 8. The former child actress reunited with host Andy Cohen to address her legal issues trouble, her sobriety, her complicated relationship with sister Kyle Richards, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars and more. Check out this recap below!

The special interview starts off with Andy Cohen and Kim Richards talk about her sobriety and her recent arrests which made huge headlines last year. If you recall, last April, Kim Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel then again a few months later for shoplifting at Target.

Kim revealed she couldn't discuss on of the cases. "It's a legal issue, and I can't discuss that," Kim said in regards to her Target arrest. However, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress opened up about The Beverly Hills Hotel arrest.

"I drank that night. No excuses," Richards told Andy Cohen during her Watch What Happens Live one-on-one special (see clip below). Shortly before the arrest, Kim explained that she had a lot of stress in her life. Her son Chad Davis was ill and her ex-husband Monty Brinson was battling cancer. "I stopped taking the time for me and going to meetings because I was taking care of other people and stopped taking care of myself," Kim said.

On the night of the arrest, Kim visited her son and then went to see her daughter Brooke Wiederhorn. While catching up on RHOBH and working on her Bravotv.com blog at her daughter's house, Kim had a drink. "I felt horribly guilty and I thought, I need to go home. I can't be at my daughter's house like this. This is terrible," Kim said.

As Kim started to head home in her car, she realized that she shouldn't be drinking and driving, so she pulled into the nearby Beverly Hills Hotel to sit and wait while she sobered up. Kim wanted to sit in her usual booth at a hotel restaurant, but an employee wouldn't allow her to do so because it was closing. "He said, 'If you don't leave we're calling the police,' and I really thought he was joking, and he called the police. And one thing led to another," Kim explained.

Next, Kim Richards dishes on her ongoing feud with Lisa Rinna. Despite, Kim's absence this season, Lisa has talked a lot about her and her high-profile issues with sobriety. When asked if she had anything to say about Rinna, "I don't know because I feel like every time I've tried to talk with her it's dangerous. She confronts me in a not-so-nice way," Kim responded to a caller's question about what she would say to Lisa.

Now that Kim has returned to RHOBH, as we saw during last week's episode, she will confront Lisa about why she seems to have it out for her later on this season, she and Andy revealed during the interview. "I don't get it. It's been almost two years since I've seen her, and I'm a vicious, vile dog, and I'm crazy," Kim said. "It's concerning to me still why somebody after two years... and scared of me? Scared of me? I don't get that."

Last week, Kim Richards made her grand return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and reunited with her sister Kyle Richards for an emotional conversation about their true feelings for one another and the future of their relationship.

Kim revealed that it took a lot of her to get to the point where she could talk to her sister again. "It was hard. It was very difficult," Kim told Andy. "For myself, I have to take the hurt. The hurt won't ever really go away, but there are certain things that she had done towards me that I personally have to — things that transpired between us — that I have to put aside if I want to move forward."

The RHOBH alum also felt like Kyle had to do the same if they ever wanted to get their relationship back on track. "I couldn't return her phone calls for a while. She called and reached out to me, and I just wasn't ready," Kim revealed. "So I said to her, 'I have to put those things aside, and if you want to move forward, I feel that's what you need to do, too.' And I missed her, as sad or as mad as I was or hurt, I need to put those away to be able to move forward in order to have a relationship with her again."

Next, Andy Cohen asked Kim if it's difficult for her to be around Brandi Glanville, given her struggles with alcohol abuse. "She’s not constantly drinking," Kim explained. "She likes to drink when she goes out. When we’re together, she doesn’t drink. When we hang out and do our thing, she doesn’t drink around me."

In fact, Kim believes there's a double standard for Brandi. "When we’re [social] and we go out, all the girls drink. I’m just curious, why is it bad for Brandi, but it’s not bad for all the other girls because when we go out to a thing, they all drink," she said. "So, when I’m with Brandi, she doesn’t drink. So, why is Brandi a bad friend but they’re all not bad friends?”

Kim also defended Yolanda Hadid and called out the RHOBH ladies for questioning her illness this season. See what she had to say, below.
