Jackie Gillies Opens Up On The Pressure She Feels To Become A Mother!

Jackie Gillies is taking to her Arena Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Jackie Gillies opens up on the pressure she feel t becom a parent. Jackie writes:

"Motherhood! Even writing it can be scary. The internal and external pressures aren’t helping either, family, friends and the unavoidable ticking biological clock. Some women are just “ready”, for others it varies. The journey is different for every woman and/or partnership. It’s a huge life changer. A baby isn’t something you can just give back.

Maybe I feel nervous because there is a lot to live up to, my mother is such an incredible, capable woman. Maybe I’m worried I will lose the spontaneity in my life. Maybe I’m worried I will lose who I am as a person. And I like good sleep! LOL. I even feel guilty having these thoughts and feelings. It’s like a big jumbled pot of emotions

At the end of the day, I want to be a mother and I just need to go for it, and enjoy the ride. I know in my heart that when I do finally have a child with Ben, that it will be such a beautiful and loving experience that all of this worry and anxiety will simply melt away.

Humans have been in the baby making business for thousands of years, Ben and I will be just fine.
