TV presenter and actress Louise Wallace is the latest woman rumored to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Auckland. According to a new report, the 56-year-old is in talks to join the New Zealand installment of The Real Housewives franchise.

Wallance is no stranger to reality television and television in general. The former TVNZ broadcaster has appeared on Shortland Street and Agent Anna and previously hosted New Zealand's version of The Weakest Link. She also appeared in Celebrity Treasure Island as a contestant and host.

Other high-profile names on the producer's shortlist of potential cast members are Bob Jones' ex-wife Kham Jones, Carita Fenning (whose ex-husband Warren is now happily with Sally Ridge), socialite and businesswoman Paula Herbert and fashion adviser Angela Stone.

Matchbox Productions, the production company behind Australia's The Real Housewives of Melbourne told The New Zealand Herald that they were not ready to announce the final line-up, but it is understood filming will begin around Auckland next month.
