"Because I know if I go on another girl's blog or if I'm looking at her Instagram — I stalk tons of female celebrities, too — I don't like feeling bad about myself. I don't like when people pretend everything's perfect, it's not," the Style by Stassi blogger told The Daily Dish. "We all need to come down to the same level and teach each other and learn from each other on how to fix those things that we don't like about ourselves. It makes people happy."
Stassi often addresses these issues on her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, which she believes to be a great platform to empower women and get to the heart of real topics that affect them.
"I'm really into interconnecting with women on the level like that and that's why I love my podcast because there's nothing better than having a female tribe, a group of great girlfriends," she said. "And I don't like when women feel insecure, and I don't want them to ever look at me and feel that way so that's why if I need to talk about my psoriasis or the fact that I'm wearing pairs of spanx, fine."
