Teresa Giudice Completes House Arrest, Lawyer Says She's Looking Forward To A ‘New Chapter’ In Her Life!

It's official! Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has ended her home confinement sentence today, February 5th. Additionally, her electronic monitoring bracelet has been removed from her ankle, her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. confirmed to The Daily Dish.

"We are happy to confirm that as of this morning Teresa's home confinement is officially over and she is no longer subject to the constraints of an ankle monitor," Leonard Jr. said in a statement. "She is now completely free from the custodial aspect of her sentence."

He adds, "She's very excited and very much looking forward to starting a new chapter in her life." Her husband, Joe Giudice, is slated to begin his own prison sentence in March.

Teresa took to Twitter to share the exciting news with a simple and direct tweet, "Feeling so blessed today," she wrote.


On February 9, Teresa will release her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, which will include details about her time spent in prison. She'll appear on Good Morning America  and Watch What Happens Live the same day the book his retailers.
