The follow-up book will “detail Teresa’s life as a single mom as Joe goes to prison to begin serving his sentence,” a source close to the 43-year-old mother of four told Radar Online. Publishers “Simon & Schuster wanted the second book because they believe Teresa’s story couldn’t just be done in one installment.”
Giudice, who left prison over the holidays following one year behind bars on fraud charges, has found writing “very healing,” the source explained. “It’s good for her to put the thoughts down on paper.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been in a promotional tour for her first memoir, making appearances on Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and Watch What Happens Live.
The book deal with Simon & Schuster gave Teresa a hefty $750,000 advance, and she will also get a percentage of the sales, reports Radar.
