Susie McLean Thinks Lydia Schiavello ‘Went Out Of Her Way’ To Make People Believe She And Shane Warne Were Having An Affair!

This season on The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Lydia Schiavello has been in the hot seat as many rumors are claiming that she was having an affair with Shane Warne. While Lydia denies the rumors, Susie McLean thinks that Lydia certainly wanted people to think so.

During an interview with Daily Mail Australia, the Real Housewives Of Melbourne newbie said Schiavello, who has strenuously denied any romance with the cricketer, would ‘go out of her way’ to cosy up to him in photos.

“At the time, Lydia went out of her way to make people believe they were together,” McLean said. “She took up any opportunity to try to get into photographs (with him).”

Schiavello has accused McLean of trying to ‘jeopardise’ her marriage to renowned architect Andrew Norbury, to which McLean responded: “I think (Lydia's) done a pretty good job of that (herself).”

McLean also revealed that while out on the town in a group that included Schiavello, she approached Warne about the alleged affair, to which he replied: “I don't find her attractive in that way.”

Schiavello, who was an ambassador for the now defunct Shane Warne Foundation, was seen socializing with Warne while they attended the cricket in England in July 2015, McLean confirmed.

She also added Warne and Schiavello ‘are no longer friends’, though she didn't flesh out the details as to why.

McLean and Schiavello have known each other the longest on the series, with a history going back to their high school days.

But the pair have never seemed to have gotten along: 'I'm always cautious of people who want to be your best friend immediately,' McLean said.

Fellow Housewife Janet Roach told Confidential that: “One of the girls knows more than they let on,” about the rumors.

But McLean replied: “It's not me.”
