Keshia Knight Pulliam And Ed Hartwell Are Married!

A few weeks after announcing their engagement, Keshia Knight Pulliam married Ed Hartwell, a former NFL player and Real Housewives of Atlanta husband. The Cosby Show actress confirmed it via her Instagram page, by sharing a photo of their wedding day.

"The most AMAZING day of our life!!! New "Kandidly Keshia" available on play.it/Keshia. Listen as we share our magical wedding day. #IAmOfficiallyMrsHartwell," she wrote.

Knight also provided details of her nuptials on her podcast Kandidly Keshia. It happened on New Year’s Eve, which means when she revealed the ring January 1, she was already married.

“I wanted to share it in our own way,” she said.

This is her first marriage. Raymond Coleman, who officiated the ceremony, joined them on the podcast. He revealed that he provided them with marital counseling before the wedding.

On December 31, they invited a very small group of friends and family who thought they were coming to a New Year’s party at their home.

“Both our dreams came true that day,” Hartwell said during the podcast. “We had so much fun.”

“The next morning we woke up and literally had 20 of the guests still at the house,” Knight Pulliam said. “That’s a sign of a good time.”

She said she got to know him after he started working with her charity Kamp Kizzy.

She said she let Hartwell do all the talking up front. Instead of telling him what she wanted him to be, “I allowed him to show himself through his actions.” She said he began saying things that aligned to what she wanted to hear. “That’s when I knew it was real,” she said.

Hartwell said she possessed everything he wanted “and more” and didn’t have any issues that made him run away.

Are they ready to become parents?

“I’m not pregnant yet,” she said near the end of podcast. “But I hope to be soon!”

“You have to enjoy every moment, through the aches and pains,” Hartwell said. “Enjoy life!”

Hartwell was previously married to Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Lisa Wu. The two divorced in 2011 and share a son, Ed, Jr.
