Bethenny Frankel Confirms Return To RHONY For Season 8: “This Season, I Am Knee-Deep In The Mud”

Last year, Bethenny Frankel made her grand return to The Real Housewives of New York City after a three year hiatus and now the Skinnygirl mogul has confirmed her return for the upcoming eighth season. However, Frankel says the new season is going to be like a mud wrestling match due to the drama and she's in the center of it. Find out why below!

During a recent appearance on Access Hollywood Live, Frankel confirmed that she is returning to Bravo's reality series later this year.

"Yes. I am back [this season], and it is spicy." She elaborated: "You know last year, I had my 'new car smell' still on me. And I wasn't getting into too much trouble," she joked. "This season [Season 8], I am knee-deep in the mud."

Frankel also addresses her appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her harsh criticism of Erika Jayne's music video.

Bethenny also shared intimate details about her life, including a recent health issue and her still-pending divorce from Jason Hoppy.

"I've had a couple of little health issues lately.  I haven't been exercising at all for about eight weeks," she revealed. And later in the interview, she added: "[I have] not been feeling myself lately in some ways."

While Frankel is still married to Jason Hoppy, the father of their 5-year-old daughter Bryn, the reality star did share that she was in fact dating guys in New York City. "Yes [I'm dating]."

In her interview, she stated she is dating "one person in particular" who is "successful." She confidently stated there is "one [man] that I really care about – that I like. "

When pressed further about her dating life, and if she is monogamous with the guy, she jokingly replied, "I think we are right there. I always believe in having all the burners working."

Talking about the status of her difficult divorce from her estranged husband, Bethenny spoke frankly with her signature humor as well:

"I am still married. I like to be good at everything, so I have the longest and biggest divorce in history. Three-and-a-half [years] now on a two-year marriage," she said.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 is set to premiere later this year.
