"Before she came back into the mix so to speak, it was absolutely a prerequiste — not just for the filming but before she came back into the whole circle — to apologize to me," Lisa explained to The Daily Dish. "And she has this arrogance about her. And she still even says recently or says on the show, 'Well Lisa only ever gave me a job as a waitress.' I called bull on that because we all know, breaking the fourth wall, I gave her many, many opportunities. I made Stassi Schroeder a name that nobody had ever heard of. So, for that, I think humility is an important factor of being successful."
Lisa doesn't believe that Stassi has had any significant growth since last season.
"She said to me [she changed], but then when I see the arrogance on the show, I think the day I really will see growth [is]when you see humility. And I think humility is an important factor in growth."
Since her time on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi has continued working on her fashion site Style by Stassi, as well as her podcast Straight Up with Stassi. Lisa notes that Stassi could have been using her time away from the series to do some good.
"I always say, and I think in every interview I've done I really [say], thank you to the production company, to Andy Cohen, to Bravo for giving me incredible opportunities, not just to capitalize financially and things like that but for giving me a voice to support all the things I've been passionate about for years. My support in the fight against the Yulin dog fest, my support of the LGBT community, drawing attention to many different things. And it's given me a voice and I've had wonderful, wonderful moments in this arena. So as much as she should turn around and say, 'You know what? Vanderpump Rules gave me a voice', but she hasn't used it productively."
