Kim Richards Is Reportedly Staying By Ex-Husband Monty Brinson’s Side As His Cancer Battle Comes ‘To An End’

According to a new report, Kim Richards is standing by her ex-husband Monty Brinson's side as he continues to fight his battle with cancer. According to Entertainment Tonight, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and his family have been with Monty after his move to an assisted living facility, with a source adding that "nobody knows at this point how much longer he’ll last. He seems to mentally be good most of the time, he is just on a lot of medication."

The source further noted that Kim has "been holding up well" and that she's "at peace with Monty's diagnosis." Monty addressed his condition on Instagram. "I'm proud of sharing my journey," he wrote. "I'm surrounded by love." The post featured a video of Sylvester Stallone (identified as "Rocky Stallone") speaking to Monty, seeming to reference the fact that he has been supported by those closest to him at this time. "This might be my final resting place but I'm content," he added.

Kim addressed Monty's diagnosis in a RHOBH cast blog post in December 2014, where she revealed that he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
