The couple have been together for 3-years. Jo shared the exciting engagement news on her Instagram, “Most unexpected surprise ever! So excited to start planning forever with the most incredible man in the world and my best friend – feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. #TeamMarkAndJo #SheSaidYes,” she wrote.
On Facebook Jo thanked everyone for the kind words and well-wishes about her engagement, and revealed the top-secret proposal happened while the couple was on vacation. “Thank you all for the sweetest words and wishes ever on my engagement! Your kindness and support truly means the world to me and I’m absolutely humbled by the amount of love and support we’ve received on our engagement announcement – excited for all the pre-wedding adventures to come! #TeamMarkAndJo
During her time in RHOC, Jo was engaged to Slade Smiley during the first season, however soon after the two called it quits during Season 2. After the split, Jo and Slade got their own Bravo spinoff called Date My Ex: Jo & Slade, which was unsuccessful - soon after Jo left reality TV and the public eye behind. Now, Jo is in a successful career in marketing and ad sales.
