Teresa And Joe Giudice Save Their Montville Home From Foreclosure!

Great news for the Giudice family! It's been reported that The Real Housewives of New Jersey's home is out of foreclosure, and the mortgage is now current, her lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr. told People.

"Like a lot of people, the Giudices had fallen behind on their mortgage payments, which then puts the home into foreclosure as a way to protect the bank," he said. "Fortunately, they were able to pay back the money owed in full and the home is no longer under the threat of foreclosure."

Community Bank of Bergen County started forclosure proceedings on the Giudices' Montville Township, New Jersey mansion in April, according to NJ Advance Media. Around that same time, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice had also put their home on the market for just under $3 million. "Losing the family home was never an option. Teresa made that very clear to me," Leonard also told People. "There was no way we were going to let that happen. I am very happy it all worked out."

Teresa was originally sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, she will reunite with her family next month as she will be released on December 23.

Teresa, Joe, and their four daughters will have a few months to spend together before Joe begins his 41-month prison sentence in March. "This is the family home where they have raised their daughters," Leonard said. "There is a lot of sentimental value there for Joe and Teresa, who are thrilled and relieved that they get to stay in the house."
