VIDEO: Bethenny Frankel Revisits Her Feud With Jill Zarin — Says Jill Tried To Make America Hate Her!

Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin started as best friends on the Real Housewives of New York City…however, that friendship lasted until season three. Their infamous falling out made for some pretty riveting TV—Now, almost five years later Bethenny is opening up about the big divide in an interview with Andy Cohen to celebrate the show's 100th episode.

"I remember there was a turning point and I was hosting the Today show," Bethenny explained. "When I got there, the first thing that was told to me  by the producers was Jill called her and she lost her mind. ‘Why not me? I'm better than her.'"

Bethenny said she'd get invited to do other shows out in Los Angeles and Jill would ask why Bethenny wasn't bringing her and that they'd be better together. "Listen, I'm not in a girl band," Bethenny told Andy.

Frankel says after hosting the show, she went back home and things seemed fine between them. She sent Zarin's husband Bobby, who was battling cancer, flowers for a procedure he was having.

When season 3 started taping, Zarin called Frankel and slammed her for not calling Bobby when he was having the procedure. Frankel speculates Zarin waited to express her displeasure until the cameras were rolling in an attempt to villainize her.

"I was like, 'Woah. This is one cunning bitch,' " Frankel told Cohen. "She's waiting to be on camera to come at me with things and make America hate me. It was really clear that she wanted people to hate me, and it completely backfired."

"It must be very difficult for her that she can say she's responsible for putting me on the show and people say I'm the most successful Housewife in history and she would've been on the ride with me," Bethenny said. "You know, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered and that's how it goes." Ouch!

The Real Housewives of New York City: 100th Episode Watch What Happens Live Special will include appearances from Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Bensimon, Aviva Drescher, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Ramona Singer, Kristen Taekman, and Heather Thomson.
