Real Housewives Of Cheshire Star Ampika Pickston Reunited With £35K Watch After Home-Invasion Robbery!

Back in August, we reported that Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ampika Pickston was a victim of a home-invasion robbery which according to police records, the armed robbers escaped with £70,000 ($109,952 USD) worth of items, including a rare Harry Winston watch worth £35,000 ($54,979 USD).

Now, according to the Manchester Evening News, Pickston has been reunited with her rare £35,000 watch.

As previously reported, Masked armed raided the Real Housewives of Cheshire star’s luxury home with an axe, knife and hammer, forced and grabbed her housekeeper Lesley Khan before she could activate a panic alarm.

The robbers threatened Mrs Khan, who has worked for Pickston for more than seven years, before they escaped with the items, collectively worth around £70,000 ($109,952 USD).

The items included a rare designer watch (pictured below) encrusted with pink diamonds worth £35,000, costume jewellery, a £1,000 ($1,571 USD) bottle of Clive Christian perfume and two Chanel handbags.

How did Ampika recovered her rare watch? Well apparently the security company Pickston uses to safeguard her house also funds the entire running costs of a children’s charity - Cheshire’s Children.

The company and the charity, which works with young people on estates in and around Cheshire, appealed to the community for help after the home-invasion.

Now it has been revealed that the rare watch - which is believed to be one of just three in the country - was returned to Ampika within days of the charity issuing the appeal last month.

To thank the charity the ITVBe reality star handed over a generous donation to help their fund-raising efforts.

“I have seen first-hand the unique and proactive role that Cheshire’s Children played in the recovery of my property,” Pickston told Manchester Evening News.

“The combined efforts of my security company and the local charity has created such goodwill in the local community,” she added.

“It is inspiring young people and I am delighted to make a generous donation to its continued efforts and I feel sure that others will follow suit.”
