Sonja Morgan: “There WAS A Truce At That Lunch To Take Bethenny Down. They Were Threatened By Her Return To The Group”

Sonja Morgan is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion. Sonja thinks the other girls need to back off and just be happy for her. Lady Morgan also reveals that there was a truce to take Bethenny down. Sonja writes:

"Sue me if I know how to have a good time!

I’ve partied with the best of them, and those days I spoke of with Dorinda in the privacy of our hotel suite just don't exist anymore. After I apologized to Carole I could tell she is still very sensitive about her family. This is why I usually steer clear of the subject around her. I have mentioned to her before that I knew some of her in-laws and some of her friends as people do when connecting. I would never want to offend her.

None of us are perfect, especially in this group of characters! My business is building solidly, my family is thriving, and thank the Lord for my health.

I’m sad to see when the girls are looking for problems to exploit, and some of the girls could be more truthful. Whether the girls like it or not, I live a fabulous life! They act as if my life started and ended with my ex. I've lived a lifetime before I married. I cherish every memory and love to share them, especially with my team. I love to inspire people.

I am out of my lawsuit and in a really good place. I can’t believe that Heather was so harsh with me after a simple misunderstanding. I needed to take care of my kid and sister. No one was freezing, they didn't want to come up for a cup of joe. They wanted to come up and bully me into leaving without Bethenny. I said I'd be down, I had a schedule to adhere to, made many plans at The Borgata. And of course I was packed.

There WAS a truce at that lunch to take Bethenny down. They were threatened by her return to the group. And... I was told they were plotting against me, too, at said lunch. A very competitive group. I can't focus on others' lawns and their brown spots. I just have to keep fertilizing and mowing mine.

I wish that my friends could just be happy for me instead of judging my every movement. I do none of that with them. I do regret going to Atlantic City with them, but the women don’t need to crucify me. All I wanted was to treat my friends to a good time and celebrate Ramona's birthday away from her divorce troubles.

I still have faith in these friendships and time will tell. I think some of the girls are unhappy themselves and project their anger on me and others just to stir the pot to be relevant. None of us are perfect, and once we vent, we always have a greeeeeat tiiiime. Be sure to tune in next week, because this reunion is only going to get better when they stop pointing their fingers at me and turn it on the others. Whew!"
