According to the Daily Mail, Taekman signed up for an account on the affair website back in June 2011, and the address of the credit card used to subscribe matched that of the Tribeca neighborhood apartment that he shares with his wife.

The site reports that Taekman spent thousands on Ashley Madison, making a whopping 62 paid transactions. Credits are required to send messages to people on the site ($49 buys subscribers 100 credits, $250 buys Ashley Madison users 1,000 credits). Following the news, Josh Taekman first denied the allegations but then came forward admitting it was true. Josh released a statement to E! News addressing his Ashley Madison account:
