Kristen Taekman's Husband Busted With Ashley Madison Account — Josh Releases Statement And Apologizes For ‘Foolishly’ Signing Up!

The Ashley Madison scandal continues! It's been reported that Kristen Taekman's husband Josh had an Ashley Madison account, which is used for individuals looking to have an affair. According to a source, this information could mean the end for Real Housewives of New York City couple.

"Kristen is embarrassed by this entire situation," the insider tells E! News. "They have had their problems in the past but worked hard on them. This could be the final straw and the end of their marriage."

According to the Daily Mail, Taekman signed up for an account on the affair website back in June 2011, and the address of the credit card used to subscribe matched that of the Tribeca neighborhood apartment that he shares with his wife.

The site reports that Taekman spent thousands on Ashley Madison, making a whopping 62 paid transactions. Credits are required to send messages to people on the site ($49 buys subscribers 100 credits, $250 buys Ashley Madison users 1,000 credits). There is a money-back guarantee if the subscriber does not have an affair.

Following the news, Josh Taekman first denied the allegations but then came forward admitting it was true. Josh released a statement to E! News addressing his Ashley Madison account:

"I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family. We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."
