Shannon Beador: “I Knew For Certain That David And I Were Going To Make It”

Shannon Beador is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Shannon shares her thoughts on her Valentine's Day date with David... Shannon writes:

"I am in New York with David and will be on Watch What Happens tonight! We are having a ball!

I like this episode. Finally you are seeing some fun and positivity!!!

To start...I know, what was I thinking??? I lifted up my shirt and squeezed all the flab on my stomach. I thought that it would motivate me to finally tone up my body and exercise. It has. As most women enter their 50's, we get a little thicker around the midsection! Today I can say that I am still not the biggest fan of exercise, but I like the results and I am actually becoming stronger and more toned. David is such a workout fanatic so it's nice that we can do another activity together.

Dr. Tim was the twins' soccer coach a few years back and I always told him I would come into see him at Pacifica Wellness. I just never made the time or effort. But his exercises have allowed me to slowly build up. He focuses on sports medicine and physical therapy so it's great that he uses ultrasound and acupuncture on those days where my older body has strained itself a bit!

Valentine's Day dinner with David was one of my highlights of filming! He was thoughtful in every way possible! He loves John Hardy bracelets and I have given him a few with dragons on them because we were both born in the Chinese year of the dragon. But the most special part of the night was when David read me his card. He usually buys cards with the words or poem already printed and then signs his name (which is great!). This time he wrote his own words and I was blown away. I also never see my husband tear up -- once when we put our dog down and then the second time at our Couples Retreat. It was on this night that I knew for certain that David and I were going to make it. He said things to me that I never thought possible after our ordeal. The love I saw from him was deep. I will never forget this touching night!

Bowling was fun! It was so painful to hear Vicki matter-of-factly say that her mother would watch Brianna's boys if they went away. It is so hard to watch her hurting. But I was so excited to hear her announcement that we were going to Tahiti! She and I could both use a fun girls trip at this time!

Tune in next week as we get ready for an off the chain, crazy, and amazing trip!"
