"I'm never there when the cameras are there," Harry tells KTLA about avoiding home when Lisa is taping. But since that's not always possible, Harry has come up with a fool-proof way of making sure he doesn't spend too much time on camera. "I have a rule about the show," Harry reveals. "I don't sit down—if I'm there I just walk through the background."
Harry stopped by KTLA to promote his new independent drama The Fourth Noble Truth, in which he plays an actor with anger issues who is arrested and, instead of jail time, sentenced to learn meditation. Harry himself says he's been meditating off and on since the 70's. Not a bad practice when you're so close to the Shakespearean levels of drama of the RHOBH cast—even if you're keeping your distance.
Harry even recalls a conversation he had about what his level of involvement would be on the show before Lisa was cast. "They said 'Well, of course you're going to be on it,' and I said, 'It's called the HouseWIVES, it's not called the Househusbands, right?'" Lisa, on the other hand, is having an easier time easing into reality stardom. "She's having a great time," says Harry. "It's been really wonderful."
