Looks like Teresa Giudice may get an early Christmas present. According to a report from North Jersey, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star will be released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in early December, and will immediately begin home confinement to serve out the remainder of her sentence.
Giudice began serving a 15-month sentence in January, after pleading guilty to mortgage and bankruptcy fraud last March. Joe Giudice and the couple's four daughters apparently still live in a 10,000-square-foot home in the Towaco section of Montville, although Joe Giudice is scheduled to serve a prison sentence for fraud after his wife is released.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons lists her release date as Feb. 5.
Earlier this week, Teresa Giudice sent her first tweet from prison: “Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support I love, love, love you all xo T!”
The tweet was actually posted to her account by eldest daughter Gia.
