"I'm stronger than anything in my way."
As many of you know, that’s my new tagline for this season of The Real Housewives of New York. But it’s more than that—much more.
It’s a philosophy I’ve tried to live even before I could put it into words. I’ve overcome so much adversity in my journey to get where I am. Whether it was believing in my vision to become a successful businesswoman or persevering through my son Jax’s life-threatening health problems early in his life, I truly believe that we can all rise above the obstacles life throws at us.
I wanted to share with you where I got the inspiration for that tagline: a Colorado non-profit called No Barriers USA. Their work is close to my heart.
No Barriers’ mission is to unleash the human spirit and their motto is “What’s Within You is Stronger than What’s In Your Way.” While they have programs designed for youth from all backgrounds, disabled veterans, and people with disabilities, No Barriers is focused on helping everyone break through the physical, mental, and emotional barriers that stand in our way.
