Former RHOC Star Peggy Tanous Is Returning To Reality TV!

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Tanous is making her return to reality television. Tanous, who left the Housewives franchise after just one season in 2011 is back, her claws are out ready to tackle another catfight, but it's not what you think!

This time around it's about her cat, Shadow. The family's experience with the feline has gotten so bad that they enlisted the help of cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy and are appearing on an episode of Animal Planet's My Cat From Hell.

"I thought it would be really nice to rescue a cat, so we got Shadow about two years ago," Peggy tells Us Weekly. "And I don't know what changed, but Shadow has been a struggle with us."

The biggest problem with the kitty is its aggressiveness towards Peggy's two little girls, London and Capri. "When I saw Peggy and Micah's daughter, Capri, handle the cats I know we had a problem," Jackson Galaxy tells Us. "As a five-year-old, she doesn't have the cognitive tools to know how much is too much. Peggy and Micah did have those tools though; they needed to step in, set rules and if those expectations were not met, really reconsidering rehoming the cats."

Thanks to Jackson's intervention, the Tanouses have a reformed Real Housecat on their hands, who gets to remain living large in Orange County. "My next step was to teach very basic compassion—that Shadow and Sophie had feelings just like she did, that they felt scared just like she could," Jackson explains. "Fortunately that approach resonated just enough to allow me to do my job for Peggy and Micah, as her parents, to do theirs."

Tune in to My Cat From Hell on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET on Animal Planet.
