Is ‘The Real Housewives Of Cheshire’ Getting Cancelled?

Things aren't looking too good for our British Housewives. According to a new report, The Real Housewives of Cheshire is in danger of being cancelled after one season.

The series started on ITVBe in January 2015 with 1.1million viewers, doubling TOWIE’s rating but as of now, the show has not made the multi-channel Top 30. ITV chiefs believe the show has lost its fizz - and viewers haven’t warmed to the current cast, reports the Mirror.

“Much was expected from Real Housewives with its glamourous, wealthy women,” the source tells the Mirror. “It started off with a bang - attracting some of ITVBe’s best ratings - but interest has tailed off rapidly.

Viewing figures have declined rapidly as people simply failed to connect with the housewives featured,” the source continued.

“Its seems viewers juast simply are as obsessed or interested in the Real Houswives of Cheshire as they are themselves.” No decision has yet been made on its future - but the word is that there will just be the one series and it won’t be back.”

An ITV spokeswoman said: “No decision has yet been taken about the show’s future. However, we are very happy with how the show has performed."

I really hope this is just a rumor, because I have really enjoyed the show.
