She later retweeted a response from her family's official fan page which in no uncertain terms stated that the story about Joe and business associate Jamie Jackson "is a lie. Instead of trying to report the truth or get the truth, you all who are bloggers or journalists are working your butts off to create fiction. Just stop! Enough is enough!"
For their part, both Joe and Jamie Jackson have vehemently denied they are anything but acquaintances who have only ever met twice, and both over group business dinners. "No, I did not flirt with her. I did not make out with her, nothing happened between us," Joe told Us Weekly and Jackson reiterated that "nothing inappropriate happened at any time. We did not hook up, kiss, or anything more. I saw him at the two business meals and nothing more."
Joe's eldest daughter also seemingly admitted that all of the intense media speculation about her family is taking its toll on her. The teenager later tweeted that she needed "a break from all this…a new beginning."
