Claudia Jordan: Maybe There's Hope For Resolution With NeNe Leakes

In a recent interview with Bravo, Kandi Burruss talks about this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Claudia Jordan explains why she was so optimistic about going to therapy with the other girls. Check it out below!

Bravotv.com: Was it awkward walking into the lunch with all the other girls?
Claudia Jordan: It wasn't awkward for me at all! But then again I rarely feel uncomfortable. I actually was looking forward to seeing all the ladies again, because I am very much an optimist, and if there is a chance for things to move in a positive direction, then I'm all for it! Plus I've gotten so used to not seeing NeNe that when she does want to actually show up to a get together, then I'm going to make sure to be present and engage. It was like Christmas! OK...maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you get the gist! It's more like Halley's Comet -- it only comes around every seventy-something years, so when it shows up, you might want to step out onto your balcony, pour yourself some sweet tea, break out your binoculars, and check it out!

Bravotv.com: What did you think of NeNe's idea to bring everyone to a group counseling session?
CJ: I thought it was cute that NeNe wanted to be the one to get the girls to go to counseling. The way I saw it is if NeNe was going to subject herself to the process, then dammit how could I not? But yes, when I heard Leakes suggest Dr. Jeff, I could not wait to get in there and get to work on addressing and fixing some of the dysfunction in this wild and crazy group. Let's go!

Bravotv.com: Did you think you and NeNe would be able to move forward?
CJ: The meeting at Don Julio's went surprisingly well, and I left on a high note, totally optimistic that we would be able to move on and forward with the counseling. As women we already have enough obstacles out there in our day to day, in our careers, relationships, etc. When we have girl time, it should be an escape where we can come together and laugh and learn from one another, and dare I say even be inspired? Why create drama just because you want to "read" someone in front of the others to get a virtual high five? It costs nothing to be kind. I have to say, this was by far the most civil of all our interactions and both of us were polite and cordial. I was even able to throw out a little joke, and NeNe received it, so I walked off thinking, "OK cool! Maybe there is some hope here for a resolution." Like I've said from day one, we do not have to be besties or anything like that -- all I have ever wanted was for all of us to be cordial. Drama is exhausting, and I only have 2 speeds: zero and one hundred! I'm seeing a light at the end of the dark tunnel at this point though! But I don't want to jinx it!
