NeNe Leakes Admits She Feels “Embarrassed” By Her Behavior On RHOA!

Earlier this week, NeNe Leakes appeared on the The Meredith Vieira Show and the Real Housewives of Atlanta star reveals why she is ready to quit the show and admits that she has been embarrassed by her behavior on the show.

“I am at a point where I don’t know how much longer I can stay in this situation,” NeNe explained. “In the beginning when it started, I was having fun. I would have to say now I am not having as much fun.”

NeNe is embarrassed about how low she stooped to deal with her “thirsty” cast mates.

“I feel like anybody, whether you’re a good person or not, if somebody pushes you up against the wall, you do have a breaking point,” she says.

“There are times when you will say and do things that you wish you hadn’t said and done.”

“I feel like anybody, whether you’re a good person or not, if somebody pushes you up against the wall, you do have a breaking point,” she says.

“There are times when you will say and do things that you wish you hadn’t said and done.”

Then, NeNe reflects on how reality TV has changed since she joined the industry for the worse, and where she thinks the industry going in the future.

Leakes says that because she has a real career in the entertainment industry, she can’t be seen acting that way.

“You don’t want to be seen that way. There are times when I do go home and wish I wasn’t seen that way because I am not that person every day,” she continues.

“And so I do feel bad about certain things that happen on the show.” “I think, as of late, it [reality TV] has become very nasty, because the networks have to compete with one another,” says NeNe.

“There are some shows that are physically fighting, drinking and I think they have to do that.” “I’m not being encouraged to drink or to fight, but I do feel the pressure of turning it up,” she admits.

Leakes says she is ready to focus on her acting career.

“It gives me something that reality [TV] would never give me. Reality is just a whole different ball game,” NeNe explains. “It’s a bunch of nastiness. It’s a bunch of snatching wigs and weaves off and being shady. And that also takes a talent.”

Then, NeNe took some time out to answer some burning questions in a web-only clip from her appearance on the talk show.

NeNe named some of her favorite Housewives from over the years. And they are a who's-who of all-stars from every franchise (except for Miami).

"I don't watch the Housewives honestly, so I would just have to choose people that I used to watch years ago," she said. "Caroline [Manzo], Gretchen [Rossi], Ramona [Singer], Jill [Zarin], Bethenny [Frankel], Kyle [Richards], Lisa [Vanderpump]. Vicki [Gunvalson] because she's been there for like ever and a freakin' day."

NeNe also dished a fun fact about the franchise's executive producer, Andy Cohen. "Everybody always wants to know something about Andy," she said. "I'm always getting asked that question. Andy—he's shady. He has a little messy side too. Yeah, Andy."
